How to Plan a Unit Presentation Day, School Teacher Program Example, Integrated Lesson Show and Tell, Student Work Exhibition, School Open Day Schedule Format, Class work, Secondary Primary pupil Work Display,
EXAMPLE ONLY
TEACHER PROGRAM
YEAR 8 INTEGRATED WATER UNIT PRESENTATION DAY, 5th MAY, 2009.
Staff: Period 5 (AD) (GS) Period 6 (GS) (VF)
Period 5. 8 A & 8 B teachers mark roll and escort students to the library.
Students will be instructed to sit on the floor.
GS will explain the program’s process.
LIBRARY SET OUT
- Separate student desks will be available for students to complete evaluation sheet.
- Students will require pencils and erasers to fill out evaluation sheet.
- Water Unit box will be available to submit evaluation sheets.
- Each faculty will display work on separate tables
TEACHER DUTIES: PERIOD 5, 8A (AD), 8B (GS)
- GS will explain the program’s process to Year 8 A & B students.
- Students will be sitting on the floor and student guides will select 4 students to line up in front of the first display, left to right. This allows teachers to supervise students because students will be positioned directly in front of two teachers.
- A three minute time allowance for students to peruse the display will be allocated, allowing for additional students to join the trail.
- Staff will be present between faculty displays.(GS)
- Staff will guide students to each faculty display. Four students perusing projects, allowing three minutes for each faculty display. (GS), (AD)
- Staff will supervise writing area whilst students complete evaluation sheets.
After students have completed the evaluation sheets they will be required to sit back down on the floor, in the centre of the library, allowing for vacant writing facilities.
This also allows teachers to supervise students, especially when located in front of three teachers.
Period 6. 8 C teacher marks the roll and escorts students to the library.
Students will be instructed to sit on the floor.
